Today Ricardo introduced us to this “making a blog” project, as part of blog week. We talked about what’s important to have in a blog and what it should include and show to the public (our tutors and peers).
The content is the most important thing (examples: book binding, illustrations, trips and exhibitions, development, presentations, personal work…) and this should be addressed to the target audience – our tutors.
As students of visual communication, the visual representation of our work must be considered too. We must photograph our work properly and create narratives with imagery. Like Ricardo said, the blog is like a digital journal where we can reflect, annotate, critic, investigate and show development.
