Last Friday we had a lecture about “presentations” where our tutor Ricardo showed us several ways of presenting, some good, some bad, and then proposed us a challenge/day brief related to what we’ve been talking about that morning.
Here are some key points to how to present properly:
- Don’t include too much information in your speech or visual presentation.
- Make eye contact with the public, it will make them feel like you are including them in the presentation – they are part of it.
- Interact with the public. Engage with them in several ways!
- Paused and slow speech (not too slow, don’t make your audience fall asleep) is easier to understand.
After we talked about these important key points, each group had to come up with some ideas for our brief and present them to our customer – Ricardo.
I personally think our group did quite well, in the little time we had, we presented a logo, a mood board, initial branding designs, environmental and economical issues…
