Last Tuesday’s lecture/class was all about progressing and sharing ideas for our very own breakfast brand and creating mood boards for it, using either printed examples or magazine cut outs – the old school way.
Mood boards or concept boards are an amazing and simple way to show your idea to your client or pears, because it’s based on real life images of products, services, type, (etc), making it easier for them to understand what you want for your brand.
Later on, we got together in groups of 5, and started writing down some ideas and focal points on post-it notes, like target audiences, products, where they’d be sold, etc. Brainstorming with other students was great because it allowed us to develop our ideas and even think of new stuff to add to our brand.
Finally, we were asked to talk about our breakfast idea very briefly and present some of the ideas we wrote down as a group.
