Last Friday (Nov 24th) we had a crit on our Breakfast Unscrambled brief – creating a breakfast brand. We had to present our idea and pitch it in front of our colleagues and Emily.
This project is divided in three parts: research, concept and design; and we had to clearly present all these different stages. The first stage was to show the survey we made to 50 people and some market research on brands of a product of our choice.
Secondly, and directly related to the first task, we had to show how we transformed this raw research/information into something visual – an infographic.
Lastly, the most important part of our brief: the actual brand. My brand is called “Pop-eat”, a fun and practical way of having breakfast during busy mornings. The concept is pretty simple: grab a breakfast bubble from your weekly box, pop it, and go.
Every week, each bubble comes with a different combination of ingredients, from fruit bits and peanut butter to yoghurt and cereal.
In my presentation, I also included some of my most recent visuals that I created for my brand. Some brand marketing visuals, posters, and products such as the subscription box and business cards.
