Working on myself as an illustrator – DC

For the last couple of weeks I’ve been focusing on curating my exhibition and creating a compendium of work for the module “Design Competition”.

One of the briefs for this module tells us to create our own identity as an illustrator/graphic designer so we can have some kind of “brand” prepared for when we are “released” into the real world after university.

I find this very exciting because it’s a way of showing others what we are all about and also work a little bit more with our personal style.

We need to deliver our work in a professional way, as described by our tutor Cecilie, so we must include both personal and uni work as well as our CV, business card, colour palette, logo and a personal portfolio.

These are some of the examples that I’m going to include in the compendium and in my portfolio.
