The rise of social brands


Since our work in this year’s studio is all about creating our own brand, we need to be aware of certain principles and everything that exists behind a brand. We are influencers – we need and want to change someone’s point of view to join our brand and make them believe that it is the best.

On Friday we had a lecture with Adrian about “Social brands”, in other words, brands that join social causes to make society and the world a better place (or maybe just to be visually empathetic?).

We were asked to write down as many brands and social/cultural problems as we could think of and then  match (or not) these two different subjects to create a social brand or a cause that the brand itself could support.
